Guacamole Dip for a Party
from Wilma Renfro Wilson 1960
1 large ripe avocado, peeled
1 Ortega Chile, finely chopped
1 small tomatoe, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
1/8 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Combine all ingredients. Mash with fork until consistency of butter. (If preferred, mixture may be blended in food blender.) Makes about 2 cups.
