Snickerdoodles
from Vadera H 1983
Mix together:
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
Add:
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Cinnamon sugar coating:
2 tbs. sugar & 2 tsp. cinnamon
Chill 1 hour. Roll into 1" balls. Coat each ball with cinnamon sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in pre-heated 350° oven for 8-10 minutes.
